The Trust has contributed to a bench installed in the Warren Playground, at the north end of Whitfield Street, in memory of Toks Osanife, who died last April.
Toks worked for the Trust for many years, and is greatly missed
The Trust has bought back the lease on the residential floors, left in a terrible state of repair by Clarion Housing Association, and has converted them into three brand-new flats.
They consist of one two-bedroom and two one-bedroom flats. These will be managed by one of our housing association partners Notting Hill Genesis (NHG).
Via the management agreement with NHG, the flats will be offered to Camden Council to provide affordable housing to people in housing need on Camden’s waiting list.
Sadly, Toks passed away on 23 April 2022.
For 15 years he looked after the playground which we manage on Whitfield Street, and he helped us in many other ways.
He was a joy to work with, and we will miss him enormously.
